The United States Naval Test Pilot School (USNTPS) at Patuxent River, Maryland is one of the most prestigious aviation institutions in the world. May marks key milestones in its history, as it has produced some of the greatest aviators, astronauts, and aviation leaders in history.

Graduates of USNTPS include Neil Armstrong, John Glenn, Pete Conrad, Jim Lovell, Alan Shepard, and dozens of other astronauts. They also include legendary Navy aviators who went on to command carriers, lead squadrons, and shape American naval aviation for generations.
